Scope of Work was the engineering, procurement, shop manufacturing, site construction and testing of n.1 x 80.000 m3 full containment double steel wall propane tank, including foundation system, outer concrete wall, steel structures, E&I and piping works.
Last December 2020 the Project Close-Out Agreement was signed by BASF and PARESA, formally enshrining the successful completion of the Works and setting the date of Initial Acceptance.
In other words, it was certified that the tank has been mechanically completed, inspected, tested and pre-commissioned in accordance with the Contract, applicable Codes, Standards and Project Specifications.
